The project

Based in Lausanne, Fleur de Pavé supports people who work in the sex industry in the canton of Vaud. The association advocates for their rights and provides guidance to help protect their health and safety.

For “Urgences”, we needed to address a condom breaking: a moment when desire gives way to worry. How could we tell that shift and communicate the right response, without stigma or losing the sensuality of the images?

Throughout our collaboration with illustrator Benoît Drigny, we have developed a visual world that carries this intention. Images in which sex workers can recognise themselves, and a campaign that speaks to them and that they can be proud to share.

The film builds desire, carried by the music. Then everything breaks: the condom, suggested rather than shown, the rhythm and the soundtrack. Thoughts race. 2D and 3D animation come together in an orbital movement around the character, giving shape to the scenarios rushing through her mind.

The story then returns to a clear course of action: going to the emergency department. A film developed in close collaboration with Benoît Drigny and the Fleur de Pavé team.
